2008 Nissan Murano Install

I used a 15 inch lcd because i didn't like the small usb touch screens, that you have to squint to see. I also could have used my factory nav screen, but again too small.

The screen can tip up to see the whole nav screen, But where the 15" lcd is i can see the heater controls and everything below it.

Below is a shot of the laptop mounted under my rear seat. When the seat is down you would never know there was a computer mounted under it!

Below is a shot of the touch pad i tore out of a laptop and made it USB. Its only about 1/8" thick and has scroll and right click built in!

This is the keyboard/mouse that the passengers use.

This is my keyboard.

Usb port next to the shifter in the old change holder.

This is my 2.5" external USB drive (160 Gig) has all my Mp3's on it, and the little black box is a dc to dc converter that converts 12 volt to 5 volt for my usb hubs and external drive.

This is a plc that controls my laptop on/off and inverter for the screen when i turn the key on.

does look good, but all that extra work could have been avoided if you bought a touchscreen.

How do you charge your diNovo Mini keyboard in the car?

Could you tell me how much poower provide the home charger.
12V? 9V? 5V?

I hope 12V or 5V...

@Coucouillu: The keyboard will only require apporximately monthly charges, if used often, and longer periods still if not used much-I guess in a car environment you may go as long as 2-3 months without a charge.

Hope you forgive me but I really think that your install is not something I would be pride of.

If you find a 7" touchscreen to small why not take a 8 , 9 or 10" instead.

Screen is just to much. Also the small keyboard on your steeringwheel is not a nice solution.

I like the install...
really clean, except the screen...
to me it looks out of place.
However, as long as you like it thats all that matters right?
Its only my opinion...
