Here's my truck with a 7" lilliput, i know there have been a lot of people wanting to put a screen in this truck that are scared because its 1.5 DIN. But this is to prove it is possible and I'm sure it can look much better than this.. the local audio shop wanted $550 to fit the screen into the dash and make it look factory. A dremel, some plastic bumper repair, and a few hours later here she is.. I'll eventually clean it up even more

looks great to me. Obviously a bit more work and it could look all fancy and factory and such but looks great as is. Most certainly doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

I've done the 1.5 to dual din conversion in my 2001 Suburban as well. I used the readio/hvac support frame piece from a 2003-2006 and the dash bezel from a 2003 Denali.
