1999 VW Passat 1.8t -Rackmount Case

I have everything I need to get it all installed, so I figured id start a post. First off here is the Vehicle. Full install pictures to follow!

Dash with re-located climate controls, and a screen that barely fits in the hole.
Actually had to carve about .25" in to the climate control housing....lol

I like it! Of course I'm also biased as the B5 was my second choice of car when I bought the NB.
How's the climate controls gonna move down? any trouble with cables or harnesses? Tell us all!

Well the climate controls dident move themselves, the dial is wide, and the center turns the controls.
the outer ring is used to light up the circle, ring, and icons.

ill take some detail pics, as i have to pull it out again to install my reset switch up there next to the monitor.

Hey man, I love the rackmount! I got a 03 mustang started with an old orion amp case for the mobo. One thing I would do is put a rubber sleeve around that second drive.

That kit there comes with 2 rubbers cases and a ide, sata, and laptop ide to usb 2.0 dongle. It works great and I've been using the rubber cases for 8 months now in my mobile dj setup, drives stay cool and safe.
