I'll admit, when I first saw your concept I didn't think it would work.

Congrats on your success and on doing something innovative.

Great job! Making the screen work must have been a "B" considering where it's at. If you like it there, that's what counts. My 17" LCD is embedded in the passenger door panel.

I'd have to say full marks for making work, I'm still dragging my heels over swapping my wheel for a similar one with buttons, so I know what kind of work has gone into that, especially getting it stable because those monitors do not like being taken apart and then moving.

However looking at the video I'm not sure of the practicality (yeah like we do these things for that reason) of it, as using whilst manoeuvring would be very difficult and dangerous and having something that bright at night so close in front would be very distracting and might give you night blindness for a few crucial seconds.

Very nice install, only thing i dont like is that long boot time, I would drive myself into a canal if I had to wait that long. I guess going small with the MoBo has its pros and cons. Love the ineterior, and love the red accents in the digital gauges and steering wheel.
