2008 Yaris 4 Door Sedan PC Install
This is my attempt to catalog my pc install into a brand new 2008 Toyota Yaris 4 door sedan. I am not a computer tech or mechanic. I bought my first car when I was 15. My uncle and I restored it. At that time, I replaced the stock radio with a tape deck. From that moment on, I was a car audio enthusiast. Every car/truck that I owned since then, got an audio makeover. As the years went on, and my annual income increased, I got better and better equiptment. Then I got married, had kids ect… After that, I just did basic, indash cd installs until last fall when I found mp3car.com. After reading a few posts, I got excited. I didn’t want to invest a great sum of money at once so I purchased an indash dvd player with 7” screen. I thought I would use this screen later when I built a pc. I spent the next 6 months reading posts and learning as much as I could about carputers. I discovered that it wasn’t a great idea to use my indash dvd player and 7” touch screen due to poor video quality. Then I dove in with the carputer system.
Bybyte Double Din LCD Frame
I also purchased a Bybyte Double Din LCD Frame. After removing the Lilli from its plastic case, this unit allows you to install the LCD into your double din dash opening.
