as of now i think i am goint to mount my screen on a gooeseneck attached somewhere blow the dash that would let me put the screen under my head unit. i think that to save money and effort i will keep my head unit and use the aux in to connect audio (or bluetooth, as my headunit also has the A2DP profile and can control programs like winamp or itunes), and also cram the pc into my glove box. this will keep everything fairly centralized and easy to access/remove/modify.

Ok heres the final product.
Parts Used
Evercoat - Everglass (Part# 100632)
Plasti-kote - 466 gray primer/filler
plasti-kote - T-8 Satin Black
Sand Paper-3M 40,80, 180, 400, 600, 1000 grit

My best advise, Take the plunge and cut the dash. If you mess up Ebay for a new dash and learn from your mistakes. SANDING ROCKS!!!!

Next to build an all clear case!!!!

Here is an updated on my install.
HP slimline s3100n
Pertty sweet now, alot faster than the old amd xp2000
Still the samer opus 320w PSU.

Nice install, how good is your reception with the 802.11 wireless card in the trunk? I'm guessing thats what the black antenna is.

Reception is good when i'm in my garage. I only use the WLAN when i'm just updating a few files (Music only) at a time. Larger files or major system os updates are done on the LAN. Really don't use it outside of my house b/c i use my phone for the internet when i'm out and about.

I'm planning on building a new case. Recently started having heat issues. don't know why its been working for a month 1/2 with out a hiccup.

Well the summer time put some heat issues on my computer. Solved that issues with a nice tornado fan. Enjoy the pictures. Next project is to turn the screen right side up. Time to chop up the dash opening and make a new bezel. Money has been tight since I'm saving up for a wedding.
