First let me say, extremely kool install, luv the blue LEDs , and the fact that yours had EVErYTHING!
I'm new to this and am just making a list of possibilities and trying to decide what to keep and what to lose.
Does the majic jack phone work through the touch screen too? or do you have to use some sort of HID? I usually save all of my calls for when I am comuting just to save time anyhow, this would seriously cut back my phone time and I hate trying to talk n drive on my iphone so that's a plus as well...
Besides who can beat $45 bucks forever and no contract hah!
Thanks in advance, late!
Hi MDX, the magicjack should work with a touch screen. I haven't heard from anyone saying that it can't. Nevertheless, with the magicjack, you'll realize your savings, and appreciate not having to tether a cellular phone to call anyone. The softphone is already integrated with the device.
Bear in mind that you'll need a high speed wireless broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 1mb down, and 256k up for optimal clarity.
Setup is a piece of cake. :)
If you need help configuring the majicjack, let me know.
THATS SEXY....GOOD WORK MAN :)
how do you manage to keep them all powered up...ovusly you don't leave your car on...if you want to use the pc without leaving ur car on whats required to power it and not worry about draining the batter
Wow! you've got a lot a detail on here. I wish my project page was so detailed.
I also wish wimax was available in my area. My 3g over my phone seems so slow...
Awesome computer system with amazing video and audio processing power. I see that you take advantage of the video power but I am confused on the audio. Maybe you skipped some of the details.
How did you tether the ridiculously optioned and powerful SB X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro to what appears to be a Pioneer Premier DEH-700BT. Are you simply using the aux inputs of the Pioneer? What does the rest of the system entail? Amps? Speakers? Sub?
Cheers!
Bill

Be patient with your build, progress in small steps and try to stick to your original plan. Once the basic installation is done, come back to it later feeling refreshed and think of things that you can improve upon, or add some features that are not there.
Google can be your best friend in projects like this. Best Wishes!
Great to see some VW love.
