i have a 91 that used to be a show car wanna be. no car pc, just did a head unit in dash, cd changer in the glove box. 2 12" woofers in the truck and an alarm that controlled everything. with no door handles, it was the way i rolled my windows and popped my doors

As I sit here in my Wally World t-shirt, bearing a big marty moose face on it, I must say, I dig the license plate...
Sooo....
I finally found more time to get going on the new console. :juggle:
I bought enough USB cables to run the full length of the car and have power setup for the touch screen.
First fitting to get a feel for the trimming needed

Part way there, I'm thinking the Riv shifter won't work. I had to drop the console quite a bit and it's messing uo the geometry fo the shifter, but I have a '92 Camaro shifter that may work better.

But, I like it, it's starting to look like it was born there..
I wired up the lights, cigarette lighter (it will power my touch screen) and the power port.

Removed the 7mm screws that held the ashtray and junk box

the ashtray light will provide power to the console lights, since both are GM, they are even the same color. I will tap into the lighter to power and ground the power port
