I used steel bar left overs in my parts bin. You can find them easily at ACE, Home Depot.
Then I used existing holes and bend it to shape like this, so that it fits perfectly the back of the monitor - secure enough not to vibrate a thing while driving, while still allowing to change height (about 1 1/2") and access to the monitor without having to remove the console first.
I wouldn't fix the screen on the overhead console, it might vibrate too much, or simply break the console: at least this is the case with the FX, where the console is supported mainly by platic/metal pawls and clips. On the Sequoia, the console is screwed on, so I would be less concerned in that case.
Hope this helps.
RH.
