ok im big on car audio too so i have to say that is a really nice set up!

2 questions...

how about noise in your system with this many devices and ground do u have any?

what bt mirror are u using? very nice!

No noise whatsoever, dead silent!! I spent alot of time making sure everything was grounded hard, I had some noise until I put the motherboard on a steel plate and grounded the **** out of it!

The JL Audio CL-RLC and Zapco Symbilink line drivers help boost my pre-out without inducing noise, so my gain can be set real low, I'm sending about 8vrms to the amps input!

I'll have to look up the bt mirror brand, I forget, I bought at Candian Tire here in Canada, about $100

Okay, the mirror is a Yada YD-V16 Bluetooth Rearview Mirror Speakerphone , I bought $110 CDN on special, now going for $150CDN.

Sweet setup! I loved the diagrams, I have made a ton of those for all the crazy things I have thought up. How do you like the M-Audio 410? I am looking for a new sound card because the internal one on my motherboard is pretty weak. No way would I have space for a PCI one, so I like the idea of fire wire (then I can use it again if I changed motherboards. I also finding it hard without a real volume knob (my power mate is nice but not quite the same, controlling my sub is a pain). Do you have full control of your sub… was it simple to setup? How did you extend those gain controls to the front?

How do you like your HTC Touch? I am currently with bell and always wanted to get EV-DO on my car computer. Does it work well?

The 410 is a great card, very flexible, clean sound, great drivers..
Was lucky to procur one on craigslist used for $200, usually go for around $300, they ave a new model out, haven't read any reviews yet.

The questions you ask were the same questions that gave me the hardest time. Then I discovered the JL-AUdio CL-RLC. Check them out. They are mini powered pre-amps, they boost the signal and also provide remote gain..the best thing is that the audio signal does not pass through the knob! I control main volumne throuh windows mixer (not the best , but will do for now) and my sub and tweeter gain each with one CL-RLC.

I love the HTC Touch, great little computer , maybe not the best phone, cant beat $10 unlimited data, active hacking community at xda developers, easy to get free tethering, fast enough to stream my slingbox tv with good quality...

I love Yada YD-V16 Bluetooth Rearview Mirror as well. Does the sound transmit/receive well on phone calls? I like the fact that it has Caller ID built into it.

I have one as well, love the sound quality. M-Audio is a little slow getting drivers updated. They were months behind releasing the XP SP3 drivers. I also got a deal on mine, $200 off ebay. Slighty used, but it works fine.

I noticed that you're running 2 power supplies. Any particular reason that you went that route?

He's probably not using girder. If it's anything like the Logitech Nulooq, you can set it to send keyboard commands to Ride Runner (new name get used to it).
