I'm generally quite happy as well, It may not be in the same class as a parrot but it does the job and is reliable. The caller ID is great...

I disconnected the battery and wired the power directly, so when I turn my ignition on it autopairs, and vice versa...

I have one as well, love the sound quality. M-Audio is a little slow getting drivers updated. They were months behind releasing the XP SP3 drivers. I also got a deal on mine, $200 off ebay. Slighty used, but it works fine.

I noticed that you're running 2 power supplies. Any particular reason that you went that route?
Thx, yeah its a real pro card, opens up lots of possibilties, like vst and stuff, are you doing that?

Hehe, when I ordered the carnetix I thought it would directly plugin to my motherboard, boy was I ****ed when I realized my mistake! It just so happened, though, that the local vendor (pcxcomputers) that i was getting my xenarc from had a picopsu ($45) in stock! problem solved!

Sometimes they say things happen for a reason, well this combo has proven to be rock solid, flexible and I love the USB connection and sw that allows me to monitor and change settings from upfront...

I have played around with the vst stuff using a program called Console. It allows you to stack multiple vsts and get as crazy with the processing as you want. I'm not running any processing at the moment. I was having some issues getting sound out of Console at one point.

I just happen to be running a P-2140 at the moment with a mac mini. I have a new project in the works that would do away with the mac. I like the picopsu from a form factor standpoint, but it seems undersized wattage wise for all my needs. I may go the same route you did.

Ride Runner they should of named it coyote or acme front end......

yeah, the sw can do this, but i send the key strokes to global, intercept them with girder, and forward them to rr, keys work even if rr minimized or closed for that matter (volume control etc)...

How you liking the Nulooq, was considering it, but white just didn't fit in...

It's too bad Guino already copyrighted Ride Runner, I like your names better.

I may have to look into girder myself then. I lose control of RR when iGuidance loads until I bring focus back to RR by touching the screen or alt-tabbing as a programmed button on my Nulooq.

I like the Nulooq, I ended up cutting it up and just keeping the top piece. The lower ring tended to chatter when I was on the highway. I use the touch ring for volume control, and then play/pause, FF, RR & gamma with the button points. I didn't like the white either, so I spray painted it with a textured black spray paint.

I'm using the last free version of girder, 3.3 something, it's around the net if you look, I can send you my girder folder with rr gml file if you need...

I remember seeing those pics of the nulooq in black, looked pretty sweet...
