Pretty sweet man! The screen fits in there nicely! Look like you kept the cup holders? Correct?

I'm doing my MKIV Jetta now and I put in an 8" screen plus a slimline dvd drive so I had to eliminate the cup holders and when it finally gets into the car I don't know where I'm going to put my drinks... Nice to see you were able to kkep yours - just make sure you dont spill!

try to get a 2003-2005 center console, thats where they have the cup holders,(vw started using the double din HU and then if you had a drink on the cup holders you had to close them in order to change the cd or to even look at the screen of the, HU mostly on 2002 and first batch of 2003) thats what I did.

i have a similar setup of what you're planning but i have a slot load dvd on top of the 8" screen

to the OP it looks nice
