    Project Name: MP3 G35 Coupe
    Car: 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe
    Engine: V6 3.5L 280 Hp




    Basic Stereo Information: Stock Bose Premium Package

    Carputer: Intel Pentium III 1.4Ghz
    Case: ITX Capuccino Mini PC
    Power: DC-DC Inverter
    Storage: 40 GB
    Sound: Onboard into the tape deck

    Looks great. Nice car too!

    how do you find the sound quality through the tape adapter? the factory headunit matches everything so nicely, it wouldnt look nearly as good with an aftermarket unit, even though you could then use AUX in, for much better sound.

    Thanks guys. Finally some people who like it (my girlfriend thinks I'm a nut). What can you do?

    The tape sound is fine now after tuning the equilizer on Winamp and turning the bass on the stereo up.

    All in all this cost about $2200-2300. I lost track. Admittedly I bought some things that I thought I would need, but didn't like some extension cables. Also, the TV card doesn't work very well even with the antenna booster. So I would estimate that this could get done for around $2100.

    I was thinking about selling the mini pc that I have in there right now and putting my laptop in the car since I will be getting a new one for my job this fall. I know that I'll probably take a loss on it even though it's only been used for under a month. If anyone is interested drop me a line at inorkuo@unc.edu.

    not surprising, considering how bad TV is in the states ;-)

    What's the pocket that the Capuccino sits in normally used for? cds? general storage? Thats a very slick install. Hows the globalink rf keyboard working for you? The one I had was horrible.

    The pocket used to have a removable cup holder and there was room to put other things. The RF Keyboard has been great so far. I don't remember where I got it from, but if you are interested then I can dig through my receipts and let you know.
