Yes I hear you on that one. Unfortuantley Ford jumped all over this one with their "work flow" setup in their trucks. I hate the idea the auto makers have basically hijacked this idea and used it as an option on new vehicles. Well one thing for sure, they can not beat a custom install.

Well thank you very much. I plan to replace the old tv in the back with another cheap LCD and do something like dual monitors. I thought it would be cool to let my kids watch movies etc from the PC while traveling up north. Maybe do the media center type thing on the Aux display.

Kinda feel bad for the passenger though, they just get to look at the back of a humongous PC monitor . Maybe a smaller monitor mounted above the glove box would give them something to look at .

Overall, it's very nicely executed. Way too large for most in car applications, but for a full size van, it fits pretty well.
I appreciate the input. It has been a while and it has undergone some extreme changes. I did a version 2 per saying, I uber simplified the setup and now the passenger can comfortbly see the monitor from the view point and even the rear passengers. I will take some pictures here soon.

That is the beauty of a full size van. When you place a 15" LCD monitor in it the monitor will look very small. I have redesigned the whole setup so everyone can see the monitor from the vantage point. Thank you for the input!

Ahh the days of adolescents, sorry reminesing. Wow reality, I am a family man now but I think you could get away with by beefing up the rear suspension and adding a small projector. LOL thanks for the input.

Red face Sorry for the delay!

Hello to everyone. I am sorry for the delay. It has been a while and I have been succombing to the poor economy and job loss here in the states and have not had much time.

Also, I did some repairs to my van like upper ball joints, tie rod ends, heater hoses and water pump (boy that was a blast), you know the 15 year maintenance LOL. I will start to update here in a little bit. Again thanks to everyone for the input.

Yes their is still a little more ugliness to be smoothed out but you can see I am leaving the uber tacticle setup to the simplified setup. It looks more pleasing this way. But I still do like the previous setup. It just contrasted with the ergonomics of the existing van interior.
