Sorry about the picture. Forgot that j-body.org doesn't like external links. I'm currently on the phone with my hosting company threatening to sue them. This is like the 10th time my site has gone down in the past two weeks. I've got the image moved to another server that hasn't gone down in about a year so it should be fine.

Here are the specs of the computer:

VIA EPIA-M 10000 Motherboard
256 MB PC2100 DDR RAM
eVGA Geforce MX440-SE with TV Out
8GB Laptop Hard Drive
Slim DVD-ROM Tray Load

Out of all of the things in the diagram, the only things I have left to purchase are the power supply, undetermined speakers, and the GPS unit. I'm hoping to run the latest copy of Media Engine with CoPilot 2003 as the GPS software. More to come....

At the time of purchase, I rigged up the head unit along with the processor and it seems to work fine. As far as hooking the computer up to it, I have not tried that yet.

Quite a system you're making!

But man before I'm gonna spend that much money on a carputer, I'd beter buy a new car. I don't want to the system tobe be of a greater value than the car, you see.

The system is pretty much up and running. Got a couple things to work out. Not too satisified with how the dash turned out so I think I'm going to do that again. Went with an Athlon XP 1700+ instead of the slow poke EPIA-M. The Ti 4200 is awesome bonus points in car shows when showing off 3DMark2001SE.

Don't have an updated pic of the subs. This is the latest I've got. Only thing different is that I have put down a piece of carpet where there is some missing:

BTW: The Sherwood decoder works just fine. However, in order to make it work, the digital stream needs to be 44.1 KHz and in the copywrighted standard format. The only sound chipset I've come across that can do this is the CMedia chipsets.
