Look for Contour Shuttle Pro or Contour Shuttle Pro V2.
Got mine on the Bay for $50. Works awsome.

I used the plug from an old motherboard. Only use the USB ports. I think I use the other one for a custom OBDII interface. I don't like having a big plug under the dashboard.

Do you actually use that? It seems much easier just to poke the screen where you want instead of fiddling around with that...

I use it all the time. Once you know what the keys are doing in a particular screen it is much faster then reaching the screen. My new skin is layed out to make the control real easy. As you can see in the screenshot, the keys in the second row (5) are on all screens. It works better then iDrive from BMW.

Can you tell me how much you were able to shorten the case?
I think that I have a very good application for one of these, but I wouldn't be able to fit the whole length of it.

hmm i got a question aswell about case sizes. Did you put the computer components all behind the dash? or in the trunk?

I'm currently building a carputer for my 300 and I'm gonna stuff it all in behind the dash and was wondering if you had done the same
