I had it behind the dash but it got real tite with the motherboard (VIA SP12000) and all the other stuff like USB hubs HD Radio. I decided to put it all in the trunk, changed the motherboard to a core2duo 3,4Ghz. Works like a charm.
Very nice work and I like this car
Very nice, I bet the controls get quite a few nice compliments when you have passengers!
I said it before, I'll say it again;
Dang.....
For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return.

Ya, nobody want to touch any buttons. They all afraid to screw it up. After awhile driving they get used to it and having fun.
How did you manage to get the music to pause and route the phone conversation through the car speakers? I have been eyeballing the parrot for quite some time until now (of course, that is if I can make mine do the same thing) but if it takes some code to do it I am in trouble. However, MGD you have done an outstanding job on that center bezel.
If you cant DODGE em, RAM em.
The carkit has the ability to output the sound directly to the stereo (with a harness for your car) and can mute the stereo, but when you running a computer you can use the output from the parot and route it to the line in of the computer. I modyfied the buttons on the parot to also control the playback in RR. When I push the button to answer the phone, it also sends a STOP command to RR. When I push the hangup button it sends the command PLAY to RR.
