So the Lilliput is dead, its understandable, I would have switched but I actually like that the EBY701 looks like a headunit, remember I have mine in a complete unit.

I still don't think it will take up much space..... The case just need to be taller.... Another solution, which worked for me in install number 2 is redesign what you have. Cut a nice hole over the processor fan so it has proper exhaust. Then have 2 fans on each end of the case.... 2 for drawing air in, then 2 for drawing air out. With something like that you should be ok.

You would have to upgrade to an M4 PSU. I dont want to recommend the M3 because I think its cr@p.

Well I'll try your friend out... Only thing is two of the pieces I think he has to see it in the car to know how to do it. They sit very funny and both sides are different because my C-Pillars are different (one has an AC duct and the other doesnt). How do I get in contact with him, just shot a message through PM?

If I were Cabe I'd be pretty expensive, lol. I have seen his work, but it doesnt make me 100% go wow. I saw Portabuddy's and I loved what he did to his dash (not a fan of the red though). I also liked Portabuddy's method of building the dash up with foam.

I'd just send him a PM but you might want to send him an email his pm box fills up pretty quick.

FYI.. that does look pretty sexy in the dash.

Well I think I can email him through the forums also, unless he didnt set up that feature.

Yes, everyone wanted me to mold it into the dash, but I said no because the EBY701 looks like a Dodge headunit and it will look better if the EBY stays intacked. Its a shame though because Nexson is the one that did the dash and I wanted him to do the rest of my car. I kept emailing him and he wont return my emails. I am guessing that he really doesnt have the drive to do this as a living. I think he also goes to school, maybe thats why? I dont know, all I know is that it doesnt take long to respond to an email and say, hey I am busy and I cant do it. Dont just ignore people. I actually based my install after that experience around making it so I dont need that much fabricators help with the rest of the build. This stuff will be easy for PortaBuddy. Only hard part will be my top dash screens..... sending that out is going to be a b!+ch.

Yea he responds to a friend of mine all the time but he completely blocked me from his instant messenger. I'm not sure why nor do i actually care lol.. Portabuddy is a cool guy and if you look through his thread he will try and antyhing. He has a ton of posts on 8thcivic. Changed out all his interior lights to red glow which i thought was pretty cool.

I do know that Nexson didn't like me always suggesting things, I could see it in his face. Just like in the forums, in real life I am super picky and uber opinionated and since Nexson is close to me, I could deal with him directly. Apparently I must have left a bad taste in his mouth because he will not respond. My pickyness, which is can also feel like I am forcing you, has got me far in life, but some people find it over bearing. I'm going to promise not to do that with Portabuddy.

I mean you are paying for it so you better get what u like that is the whole reason we are going to a fabricator. If we wanted it to look any ol way we would've done it ourselves. He actually never did any work for me. I tried to get him to do work for me but i sent him all my stuff and he was like i don't know how to open the monitor housing and then sent it all back. He was afraid of damaging the unit. I recently started trying to contact him about doing this simple dash piece but then i was blocked lol.. My friend is asking him about his dash and gets a response. The bad thing is that he probably thinks he won't be doing fabricating for long so whatever. Some things come full circle regardless of where you intend on being in the future.

HAHAHAHAHAHA, OMG Im sorry im laughing but im picturing the whole scenario. Maybe he didnt know it was you, or maybe he was upset at the fact he couldnt get the screen open? What screen was it, the Lilliput? Its only 4 screws and 4 snap on, lol. Who knows.... its all up to Portabuddy, if he so chooses to except the challenge. I sent him a PM and Email.... So if you can give him a heads up, i'll be forever in debt. I have lots of questions to ask him. i am thinking of maybe putting everything in the dash, including the rear view screen, but dont know if its to much. I dont want to clutter it up.

It was my old linitx transflective screen. That was a really good screen but i sold it and bought a new one on his recommendation. Ended up just using a metra kit and some grinding tools to make it fit myself so. When he gets back to me on my dash i'll tell him that you are coming.
