Unfortunately it looks like I can't keep all my stuff hidden. There just isn't enough room for the two amps and the computer. One amp is going to have to go on the other sidein the trunk area.
Hey BX,
That's gonna look great and keep all you stuff hidden. Here's is what I'm doing with my Honda Civic Ex trunk.
2008 Honda Civic EX Upcoming Build.
Unfortunately it looks like I can't keep all my stuff hidden. There just isn't enough room for the two amps and the computer. One amp is going to have to go on the other sidein the trunk area.

Well with the little room i have behind that baffle i just waved goodbye to my clean wiring install. There are wires everywhere. It is the sloppiest thing i can imagine. I'm almost done and i'll post finished pics soon.

Hey BX,
Where's the pictures lol?! Unfortunately I ran all over the place in my dinky town that has nothing for glassing supplies and wasted a day. Hang in there I'll be posting some more of my work soon, I think it may help you out.
Also, have you ever thought of putting your CarPC inside your console? That's where mine is going. I'm going to either get another console from a wrecked car or order the side pieces so I can work on it without taking my car apart until its done.
I doubt what you are doing would help me. Its basically that i have a little space and long wires. The power, ground and remote wires are easy to fix but the USB cables and XM cables i can't cut down.
I'm not sure what you mean by console. If you mean the radio console there isn't enough room. If you mean center console there isn't enough room. If you mean cabin there isn't enough room lol. I did not want to modify the structure of my car and that is the only way u can even fit a 7inch board in the dash.

Taking the car apart is fun! I only have 3 out of the 6 seats installed, no dash, no side panels, no head liner. Its funny because the Police visited me because there was an odd car sitting infront of my house (my neighbors are drug dealers) so I get nervous when stuff like that happens. I know most of the police so he was walking past my car, then stopped. He was like OMG was your car broken into, do you want to make a report. I was like nooooo, its not broken into, the interior is in my room being upgraded. He then of course said why. So then I pointed to his squad car and said when Im done upgrading it, it will take 20 of your squad cars to equal the power of my truck, PC wise. He laughed and went on his merry way. Later I did feel kinda bad that I have no interior, but only for .00099 seconds. The end result will be worth it.

About the console I was referring to the center console between the front seats. Yes, your CarPc will fit there but your going to have to gut the console and do some major fabrication modifications. That's why I said I'm getting another console from a wrecked car or just ordering the side panels so I can start cutting and glassing. Not sure if your good at glass or not, it helps to be so your not limited as much. As for the wires I'm not sure how you have them, but you can get flex split tubing and such at Fry's Electronics that makes wires look a lot nice. They are all hidden within and you just run some tie wraps around them.
Here's an example from some extra stuff I had laying around that I use for wire consolidation while building Desktop PC for better air flow.
It comes in different sizes too. The flexible tube that I have the Ethernet cable run through I usually put a piece of heat shrink on the end for a real nice finished product. I'm thinking if you used something like that you could have 3 or 4 sets or less of consolidated cables with other cables inside and it will look a lot nicer.
Just an idea I'm throwing out at you maybe it will help.

LOL, HiJack!! I was just showing how wires could be hidden that way, that's the first thing I saw laying around and just shoved it in there. Ethernet doesn't need a cover, although you could run anything through that stuff that you like. It's all personal preference and makes wires look nice and neat.
This was an example only.
About worrying about heat on cables, so long as they are insulated I wouldn't worry a lot. You could run them through the split tubing for extra protection.
This was my point. I have a little space and long wires. They all go off in different directions so if i did use tubbing (which i have tons of already) i would just have a mess of tubbing and wires lol.. The only solutions for me are either shorter wires or more space.
Moding the center console was something i didn't want to do and i'm 100% sure all of my stuff would not fit in such a manner that everything liked stocked. That was my plan for my car to have a computer and have it completely stock(of that means as much as possible).
