Thats not a bad idea although i'm not trying to modify the frame of the car. Still under warranty. Thats another reason i didn't tap into any of my factory wires. I think if i open up that MCS case i'll be fine.
As an update. I connected my sub to my 3&4 channel of my 4 channel amp. I bridged it so i wouldn't have to install my second amp. It sounds ok. Not great not horrible but better than the factory. I think i just need to do some more audio tweaking

Hey, as long as you're modifying, I don't know if this would fit in the MCS case, you might have to cut a blowhole, but the Scythe Shuriken is a decent fan. I bought two of 'em, one for mine and one for my son's computers. They're quiet, and move a fair amount of air. Keeps processor pretty cool too.
Hey BX,
Just wondering how your wire issues and heat issues are going now? I haven't seen you post any recent pictures of how you have it set up but I was looking at your previous pictures and with all your gear sitting like that and adding the Amps to the equation I could see how that would create a problem.
Here's how my project is coming along:
It's far from complete, just put the wires in to see how it would work.
There is so much room with my setup to mount stuff!!! I'm really happy with it so far. It takes up very little space, and I can mount equipment on either side of the board with is nice. I plan on mounting my amps on top and using the bottom for any extras that may come up or custom wiring trays. I'm posting more in depth pictures on my thread so if you want to see step by step what I'm doing. I feel bad for you that you're having all these issues and I know it can frustrating, hang in there bud! It will all work out in the long run and just be glad you don't live in Houston, Texas!! It's soooo hot here right now!!
No idea what you are talking about now lol.. There aren't any brake lights directly behind my rear seats. Directly behind my rear seats is my trunk and now its my false wall.

Oh i know the pain of texas i lived in houston for 8yrs lol. U are right i'm glad i'm not there anymore. My heat issues seem to be great but i haven't had it fail yet so i may just be worrying for nothing. I'm just use to having my PCs be under 40C during normal operation. Technically have a laptop processor now so i dunno what their normal temp is. The datasheet claims that it will work fine if i keep it under its thermal junction temp. The microprocessors i work with at work claim the same thing but i don't really know what kind MTFB results from keeping it at such a high temp.

Ahhh lol i think i see our disconnect. That is metal on my car thats why i was confused about what you were saying. Yea thats all metal. Thats where i have my gps and xm pucks.
Speaking of XM i still have not got that working again and i have no idea why. XM and centrafuse work really crappy together. If u disconnect when it works it takes forever to get it to work again even if all the settings are same.

Hey BX,
Not sure if this will fit in your case but you may want to look at it.

It's only $80 and I just read an article about it in MaximumPC and they rated it a 9.
I use the bigger version of this in my gaming Rig and must admit CoolitSystems makes very good products.
