I use the bigger version of this in my gaming Rig and must admit CoolitSystems makes very good products.

That is for a 775 socket. I use a socket p processor. I've seen those products before. After digital open my eyes to thermoelectric coolers.

most mobile processors are rated for 100C..... 212 farh before anything nasty happens.... if you are worried get make sure the MoBo is extended temp, but then again if you got extended temp mobo you'd know cause they are $$$

They have different socket adapters, you just have to call them and they can tell you if they have one that will work for you or not.

I'll have to look into that if my other (cheaper) solutions don't work. Still waiting for a fail. I was running at 60C today without issue but i think the test is coming up this week when it gets to 90F out here. I finally got my XM working. I wish i could tell you guys why it wasn't working but i changed nothing besides turned buffering off then on and then it started working again. I hope centrafuse does something with this shaky plugin. Now it would be nice if i could always use the preamp volume in centrafuse but iguidance doesn't like that so when ever i use iguidance it auto switches from preamp to amp volume. Kinda annoying but i just turned down the volume in iguidance and that helps a bit.

Really 60°C isn't all that hot. I've seen benchmarks with stock heatsinks running an app like Nero and running around 55°C so there ya go... Now if you start getting up around 75-80ish °C then I'd be worried!!

Those are the temps i'm expecting to hit this week but we shall see.

Today it was about 85F out and sunny and my carputer almost reached 70C so i might be OK if i don't go anywhere where its like 100F outside
