    Thanks!

Google Search, Google Traffic, Shoutcast and SlingBox plugins are available for Centrafuse 3.1 only and can be downloaded from the Centrafuse forums. The TrafficCam and Pandora plugins were for the CES 2010 Visteon demo and are not available for distribution (Enforcer has a REALLY nice traffic cam plugin available). The Pandora plugin may come a bit later once the licensing gets approved.

There is a TON of new plugin development going on now that CF3.1 has been released. Lots of web integration (SlingBox, Shoutcast, Webradio, Orb, Google etc) , physical computing control (Fusion Brain, Arduino, RelayPros) and more.

Most of the plugins shown in the pictures get thier speed data from the GPS. The MiniCam plugin pulls from the GPS as well (my house appears to be doing 3.3mph...hmmm) but has the option to use OBDII speed data.

No problem. First, There IS a plugin for the BCD996T. PM the user "themlruts" on the Centrafuse Forums for details.

While it seems VERY likely that all the necessary interfaces exist to convert your current HVAC and other controls over to Centrafuse, I honestly don't have a clue as to whether it has been done or even CAN be done. I would search around on this forum first to see if anyone has done work with the Lexus climate control system. I suspect a lot of time spent with the Lexus wiring diagrams is going to be needed. It wouldn't surprise me to find out its all handled via the CAN bus.

Like I said, start here, and if you find enough to keep you moving forward, that's great. Otherwise, I guess you'll get to be the first....

    Good luck!

    Howdy,

I don't have pics of the current install, but I may go take some this weekend. It basically just looks like the smaller part of the back seat folded down, with a black midtower case lying on its side. It's certainly NOT a show car setup, and not really practical if you're hauling family around, but I'm not so it works for me.

Vegas is a pretty good town for IT in general, but its not immune to the current economic situation. If you're in the support side of things, there's usually work to be found. If you're a programmer, things are a little tougher.

    Take it easy,

Some new shots of the install and the truck. Like I say, not a show car, it's a development platform, but she's a good old truck, that's for sure!

    Cheers!
