Thread: Here is my latest progress... What do you guys think?

jzgt: Good luck, the new ones are ultra bad ***. There are a lot of people with E36 M3's (95-99 style like me and techm3's) that say they like the E36 better than the new ones but I would take a new one in a second..

I'll post a clip of what my car sounds like, I personally hate what the e46 sound like even with an exhaust they sound like a sport bike... but they will outrun our e36 without even trying...

At least without some form of Forced Induction... If it wasnt so DAMN expensive to turbo/supercharge our cars I would have had one already. I will probably end up getting the AA supercharger for the 95 that I plan on buying someday... What kind of exhaust do you have? Put up a clip, I would like to hear it!

Dude, that definately sounds nice... I am thinking about doing a header/trackpipe/exhaust someday.. I hear that the stock exhaust flows pretty good, did you notice any improvements when you put it on (other than the nice sounds)?

well eurospeed performance dyno tested a whole mess of exhausts... AA gen III gave the best dyno results, B&B was good at HIGH rpms but it proviced smaller gains than the others... I personall like its sound the best and a 2-3HP gain isn't a big difference for me, so I'll take sound over that gain....

but if you do hipro headers, AA crack pipe, AA GenIII exhaust you should see a pretty hefty gain.... but you have to remember we're ODB-II cars so we don't benifit as much as the ODB-I cars do from all this stuff....

Bringing this thread back to life because I have a 96 M3 that I want to do a carputer install in. I've already done the performance stuff (well I could do brakes, suspension, wheels, etc.) but I've already done the UUC LTW flywheel, M5 clutch, AA track pipe, AA Gen 3 Exhaust, AA Supercharger so it's time for some cool navigation and in car computer stuff!
