The problem is nothing major but aggravating. I found myself running to the front trunk to reset the power to my pc four times while I was at the beach for three days. Apparently the pc would get stuck trying to power down for the hibernation.

My new pc reset controller. After looking over the car I don't plan to use this in its current state.
After looking at the panel, I think the easiest way to tap into it is through the button switch. I still have two dummy switches on the center console unused. If I need to I can plug in two rocker switches to do the four functions (each rocker has two buttons).
Another project ? Hehe:high5::high5:
sad but true. Not to long ago finished my arcade cabinet. after i finish the car I will start on server.
I have one of those 4 switch devices also. You are going to use it with a relay? Otherwise that 12V going through the power switch.
Why not just run a reset and power switch directly from the mobo? I have them for each computer going to the arm rests of each seat.
To be honest i saw that panel at autozone a while ago. i thought it would be cool if i could use it. When i had that beach problem that was the first and only thing that popped in my mind. Thanks for the question/tip/reminder about the reset power switch. I will test that first to see if that's works for me.
Its more of a power problem than a reset problem. the pc power cycle is setup to shut down after an hour. sometime the cycle will hang up and not shut down. I will use a rocker to turn on/off the pc main power and rewire the idiot light to the switch also.
I went with a true rocker switch to kill the power to the PC. I placed the switch behind the passenger seat.
Last Friday night my Screen died. PC booted as normal then screen did a gradient effect to black. The unit still powers but nothing comes up. the idiot lights still work so when I turn it on the blue light comes on followed by green, then finally the green light turns off followed by a amber light. The amber light stays on. I ordered the replacement control board hopefully that will fix my problem.
Software: OneVoice is pretty much a dead company afloat. The software is having problems with Win 7U in software registration. I called and email the company several times. Sad thing is I really like the software when it worked.
The Replacement Control Board for the Lilliput 629GL-70NP/C/T fix my problem with the LCD. Only if I could fix my One Voice.
08-06-10 Some how I got OneVoice up and running again. We see for How long...
Now that its fix, Media Center has mess its rows up. It add some new rows now I have something new to work on.
will update pics on next post.
