The old camera had a wireless receiver base that was so hot you couldn't hold it in your hand. Once I found this out, I replaced it with a wired one.

Through the years, cars and setups change, but not the love for challenging myself to do something different.

With my first setup I ran Windows Vista Ultimate 64. Then with my second Carpc it was windows 7 Ultimate 64. Now with the third one it will be Windows 8 Professional 64.

For now I'm done with the pc setup till the full version of 8 somes out. I walk away waiting on the next itch to do something with this car. For now making the car faster will have to do.

Great build.
When I saw the ferry in your photo I thought it looked like the Mobile Bay ferry. Then when I saw a photo of the car tags that was confirmed. Great looking car and I really like the build. I know absolutely nothing about these types of systems. It was suggested to me from a member of the DIY audio board to cover and check you guys out. I'll learn a great deal from you because we both drive Porsches. though mine is a great deal older. I would really like your visit to my thread on DIY if you get a chance and perhaps give me some insight, pointers. The last component of my system will be some sort of TABLET, I've got to build a center console to hold it and a buddy of mine has to build some sort of converter to UNILINK.

Thank you. I think the tablet route is a great one. The main reason I'm still Windows is the off line GPS maps. I know Google gives the option now to download maps now, but you still can't route offline. However I'm waiting on a Google Maps app for x64 so I can use the my maps feature.
Anyway I will try to help where I can.
