I used two programs Media Center Studio and Restorator 2007 full version.
With Media Center Studio I was able to change the Start Menu, text on the screen, add programs to MCE, and etc.
With Restorator 2007 I edited the all the images. This way was easier for me because MCE Studio reg editor didn't work for me. The file your looking for is ehres.dll. Its located in ''C:\Windows\ehome\''
This site help out a lot. If anyone needs my help, I will do my best.
Bigseven74 , I love your job with MC 7 to fit it in your boxer.
Do you think that is possible to share your work, me be to create a MCE's theme .So it is easy to install your job in any install ?
very nice job !!!!
Honestly I thought my problem was i wasn't getting a full 5v to two of my hubs (they were linked). After I ran another usb extension cable from the pc I have more then enough power to run the hubs separately. I had to replace the hub after I fried them, but everything is working now.
At first I watched every penny, but as the project continued, I just wanted to finish it... at any cost. I was shocked to see that I spent so much on it.
Thank you for noticing my work.
Just remember that while MCE is not as bloated as say iTunes, adding more music/video can slow down your performance. The trick is to throw as much RAM at it as possible. I also saw that the atom isn't strong enough to run HD content by itself. My Atom 330 is coupled with a Zotac ION Graphics card and 4 gb of ram.
Atom 330 and Ion nvidia is not enough to see Hd video ?
I broke the solder at some point in time on the lamp. I needed to fix it.
