[QUOTE=trinybwoy;1379817]Hello fellow Carpc enthusiasts .
Could you show us some of the photos on your webcam?
Hey Vinchan i purchased the webcam from monoprice.
i have since taking it out of the car and used it on my computer in the house.
but here is a link : Webcam
Very nice install:whoo:
thank you slickdeville!
Just curious why you didnt buy the OEM LCD housing for aftermarket LCDs?
at the time of building i was strapped for cash. was going waay over budget.lol
plus the one i saw for my car was *only* availabe from japan and it was $600 :-/
**based on my "extensive" google seraching lol
additonally i wanted to stay away from motroized housings. i was advizeded that was yet another aspect of maintenaince if/when it broke.
This fiberglass housing i settled for was $200. a guy @ my job did it for me
1) That could have been done later, security is more important IMHOQuote:

2) Virgin Mobile Internet is likely cheaper or how about pairing your cellphone to your carpc?
3) I like Centrafuse but other "budget challenged" builds have opted for Ride Runner which would have saved you $100+.
4) Isn't IGO cheaper?
Motorized things don't automatically fail, how old is your home DVD player?? Brushless motors rarely fail before the product does.
I think its a better option and looks a ton better mostly because there's nothing to look at until its being used.
My .02 centavos
FYI, The housing was <$300 shipped. You did a nice job on yours though.
