Nicely done... I hope to have my interior up and running in the next day or two.

How do you like the tail lights? Did they come with resistors or did you have to add them?

I will be buying some tail lights in a couple weeks and curious how you liked those ones. I will likely be getting either smoked or "black" for my black truck. Want to get it to blend it without using night shades.

I like them and they did come with the circuitry built into the lights.
I got the black version but it was still too light for me so I ended up getting them smoked as well.
I did get 2 complaints from both my brother and girlfriend that they could not see the turn signals blinking to alert them that I was changing lanes when they were following me on separate occasions.
In both cases I went to the back of the truck and saw them working so I don't know.
I've also driven behind my truck and it seems fine to me. In fact 2 days ago I changed lanes and pulled in front of a state trooper and he apparently had no problems with them nor have I ever gotten a ticket for them yet. .... Knock on wood.

As for the tail lights, I got them tinted with a special tint film for the lights. They are similar to the window tints but go in the outside and is a thicker film. However it can be pulled off in one piece the day I decide to do so but since I've had these lights for 5 years and never once had to pull them off, odds are I won't be doing so anytime soon.

    Thanks
Now I'm thinking of taking my project to the next phase and adding a fusion brain or something similar to have the computer interact with the truck more.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. I am a member of an Avalanche forum and the BCM info for the truck was posted in the technical section. A very helpful and knowledgeable member posted info for all generations.
