2000 Civic, msi , lvds, 14.1"
I have been building my car pc for alomost a year now. Still working on final touches adding hardware and getting to upgrade from vista to windows 7.
Still have to machine a bezel for the screen and mount it.
MSI GME965 Motherboard
4GB DDR2 memory
Intel Core 2 Duo processor
Seagate 120 GB 7200rpm laptop sata hard drive
14.1" LVDS lcd from Toshiba Techra laptop using on board lvds connection
14.1" resistive touch kit
mini-box 200W atx power supply
currently running windows vista. Right now I dont have a start up shut down controller. Possibly thinking about switching to the m4-atx power suply and running it external from my dual din case i made for the motherboard. Still have to get a usb or sata slim slot load optical drive. Also still have yet to get a usb soundcard for the rca outputs to my amps. Id like some opinions on what start up shut down controllers and or power suplies actually work well. Also any info on what usb sound cards are worth anything. audio is just 6.5" components up front, 6.5" speakers in the rear instead of the 6X9"s, and one 10" sub.
true 4X50 Watt amp for door speakers and rear speakers, 200W mono amp for sub. I don't want to run a headunit.... or any sort of preamp or audio control device. Hoping the usb audio card will do what im looking for.
and here is the car and pc porn...
