I never had these before so we'll see how I like them. I would probably prefer strips as opposed to bars. Again I'll see how effects are with these. I would not want anything flashy to the extent of responding to music. If I had a show car that would be cool.

I am however toying with the idea of strobes in reaction to my alarm when enabled and when my car is parked...so as to avoid police drama

I'm out for dinner with the fam tonite so I had a chance to sport the signals. Not too shabby. The rear bar however I may either have it removed or repositioned left to right. They're actually a pretty cool efx with the turn signals. They still make my car unique especially in this town.

How is the GPS receiver btw ?
i mean does it pick up the signals pretty fast or not.
asked someone for a 10" tab from i believe acer and he said you have to keep it next to the window otherwise it would not connect to the satellites.

and it is possible to add a usb harddisk to store my music/vid files ?

I work very well with maps so I don't use GPS in the sense that others may with a turn by turn but rather I just use the Google maps once I get near destination. The locator works quite well for me. I can't speak for others. It's actually pretty on point showing my current location and where my destination is. It moves with me. It is true about GPS needing a clear area with no obstruction for optimal use. But maybe because the tablet is in the dash which is basically just under the windshield, that could be why it works for me. Regarding the USB hard disk...well my version of the Galaxy tab does not have that unless it is perhaps connected to a USB host that also has the hard disk connected. The 10" Galaxy Tab I think has that feature using the dock..I believe..not sure. What would you be storing on the disk? They already come with a decent size if you were just storing music. I would probably look into getting maybe a larger capacity removable memory card if you needed more space that what came with the tablet. So far I have not needed more storage but that's because I only care about music which takes so little space anyways.

So here are a couple of pics with the signals in action. Here are my thoughts. I believe the LED output is distorted a bit because if the dome of the bar...not for sure. Could be that the LED's that are placed in them are not straight. In any event the EFX is still cool but I think the output is too focused or concentrated. I think I will keep these on for now but will very soon replace them with LED strips which should provide a smoother output.

Regarding the rear LED bar...I may just have it removed. I think the side signals are sufficient.

I ordered the replacement LED's I am going to use for under the car. These will have more yellow (amber) than orange. I also think these will have a better quality output than the bars that I currently have mounted.

I did that camera system! Any world on whether or not you are actually going to remove the mirrors?

By law we have to keep our mirrors. Otherwise I would have deleted mine. Also in certain conditions, the camera has issues.

1) In extreme darkness, the camera is almost useless. Also certain vehicles with certain positioned head lights will cause the camera to be almost blinded.
2) When it rains, the drops can build up on the lens, causing everything to be distorted.
3) Most states require a physical mirror, if not you are fined. In FL you have to have at least a driver side mirror. You do not have to have a rear and passenger side mirror.

I am thinking of maybe deleting mine and adding small mirrors just in case the reasons above happen.

Not only that. I've seen them without mirrors and they look weird. I personally prefer the mirrors on if anything adds to cover any other blind spots.

About the space, well i was used to have 500gig of mp3 with me in the car

But i have allready ordered a dash piece to make it fit in and a small actuator.
what i am looking for is what type did you buy, i mean the tablet ?

is it the galaxy tab p1000 or the p1010 ?

o and if you have it on nav or, can you also play at the same time music ?
