So I emailed Connect2Car support because their MFC Bluetooth module appeared to be on infinite Out Of Stock mode. They told me that they are redesigning the unit so it will not be available for a while. However..they did suggest this Zimi Bluetooth they sell that provide bluetooth proximity control to automate unlock/lock/engine start/shutoff depending on your proximity when paired to your phone or other bluetooth enabled device.

I was playing with my tab today and started personalizing it a bit...this is even better than I thought it was going to be. I cant wait to start my mods to mount in my car.

Last night I ordered my Scosche Bluetooth A2DP module and the Samsung Galaxy OEM car mount. Can't wait...I really need that mount so I can take measurements and begin designing the integration with the double din kit and tablet.

so when you do the bluetooth audio out to the amps are you going to use any crossovers or line drivers?

It's actually more simpler than that. Just like you would connect aux in to your head unit..I have a mini floor amp that is replacing my headunit not to be confused with the mega amps such as Kickers, Alpine, JBL, Lanzar, etc. This is floor amp will enable me to still attach those aux audio connections up front which will also be connected to the "real" amp for my subs.

Currently I have a temp bluetooth A2DP module that I connect to my Aux in on my factory radio. This is about to change very soon!!

I got more of my toys in today for my mod. I just received my Scosche A2DP transmitter (for music) which is an addon to my Scoche handsfree bluetooth receiver (for voice). I also received my Samsung OEM Galaxy car mount. That mount is just simply awesome (NOTE: Galaxy tab fits only without case/silicon cover). Nevertheless, this unit will enable me to mod my custom dash mount quicker. I think I will need to purchase another acrylic sheet but for now I think I can get things started.

The only physical connection the mount has is for power. However all ports are accessible. I do not plan on using HDMI on my tab in the car ...yet... and as far as audio goes that is where the bluetooth comes in. I really want as least cabling as I can for a more portable solution.

I found a shop that I may use for installing my camera system. I will leave that drama to the pros. After work today I will get a price. If all is well then hopefully I can get them installed this weekend.
