Made my appointment to get all three of my cams installed. The rear view cam will be mount on the roof in the area where most mount their satellite antennas. My side views will be mounted just beneath my sideview mirrors. Can't wait....

Aight yall...all I got to say is woohoo! My altima almost reminds me of a 007 car right about now. :drum:
Here are the pics for all three of my cameras and rearview monitor 3-way split. Betcha never seen an altima with all this...or maybe..

I have to admit these cameras were worth the money. Obviously these are not your average license plate rear view cmos cameras. As you can tell from the photo of the monitor that the video image is pretty high quality. I also no longer experience the starbursts or halos as I did with my license plate camera on my old car. This is the ultimate...I don't mind the size of the cams..its makes my car unique and spycar-like :car:
I like it! I would consider removing the rear view mirrors now perhaps? Anyway, I would also think of shimming the camera on the sides, looks like the door is too much in your field of view; as is the mirror?
What are your plans now, DVR?
The cameras are adjustable. I may play around with the adjustments today. I don't know if I want to remove the mirrors..yet or at all. I have seen cars that did that and they look weird to me. DVR is definitely possible but not a priority right now. My next plan is to black out my windows with double limo tint as I had in my last car. That's why I needed the cameras installed first. I also may install my mini floor amp in preparation for my bluetooth handsfree and A2DP components. I'm kinda anxious so these next items will most likely happen within the next week....
Here are the pics for the audio components I am using for integrating music streaming from my tablet and handsfree voice for my smartphone.
This is the A2DP device for bluetooth music streaming which will be connected to the mini amp.

These are the pics of the mini amp that essentially will be replacing the functionality of my headunit as an amp only it will be mounted on the floor...place to mount is still TBD. It has an IR receiver and remote for adjusting audio. It also outputs 50w x 4 RMS as did my aftermarket sony headunit in my last car.

These are pics of the device that will be used for handsfree protocol for phone calls. It will be connected to the mini amp and hardwired to the car for power.

I have been asked about whether the monitor is reflective enough to be used also as a mirror. The answer is yes. There are two things about this.
- The reflective mirror is optimal for daytime.
- Monitor mode is visible best at night due to the reflection of the daylight and sun.
So as I did with my last car I am getting all of my windows double limo so the monitor will work great for me day and night as in my last car. If you are not tinting your windows you will find that the mirror function is best during the day and the video monitor is optimal at night.
This is a shot of the mirror mode with the video off. Note that I just keep my video always on regardless.

I can't do limo tint here in CA, not even close.
Now why do you need the A2DP device again? For the tablet? How do you plan to power it on? I just saw terrible reviews for it @ Amazon. Please share your experience.
I needed something like that if I wanted to use BT headphones with my Nook, but I thought of this one: Sony Two Way BT adapter.
The A2DP device is for the tablet. It is rechargable by way of USB which I will have available in the car. Probably any A2DP device will work. I am using one right now called Bluebridge Mini Jack. It works perfect and I use it for streaming music from my Android phone. It auto shuts off when not in use for a few minutes. I usually don't take consumer reviews too seriously when it comes to electronics. I find many complain about silly stuff or don't understand the technology.
True that.
