Those look great. I want to set up a 360° view but have a hard time finding a screen capable aftermarket. I have been looking at the rogue screen.

Its a new year and in about a month my tablet is ready for an upgrade. I may hold off to find out what new and exciting quad cores are coming out. That's gonna be what I am looking for. Not worried so much about which android or any add-on hardware. I was kinda toying with the idea of Windows 8 Tablet..but then I thought no thanks. Anything windows mobile for me is so 2004...

LOL, I wish I could X-out my PC, it still does some stuff in the back ground, like amps, screens, PSU control, GPS, 7.1 surround sound, etc. Thankfully you never have to interface or deal with it. Android though, I am so ****ed I waited so long to jump on the tab bandwagon.
Don't go Win8. You can find pretty much everything on the Play Store, and with Android being so versatile, there is always to have your cake and eat it to. I bought a copy of Win8 and I honestly wish I could get a refund.

Word. Trust me I am not going Windows. I got some nice integration with my android that I am happy with. Plus there is some cool new things coming this year that I want to take advantage of. I'm so anxious. I got my smartphone and tablet upgrades coming up..too bad its too early in the year for the cool releases.

Well I dont much about them other than what I read online from CES and blah blah. Alls I know is I'm staying with Android and must have quad core. I cant wait to see what I'm going to do different on my next mount.
The key this year is accessories. I am going to get an optima yellow battery dedicated for my aftermarket electronics. I hope to implement mobile dvr this year and put my current tab in the headrest.we shall see..

Just read the whole thread. Damn.. that took like an hour. I've had a Verizon Galaxy Tab installed in my infiniti (still a Nissan! lol) for the last year or so as well. I've always hated how slow it was to switch between apps, or to launch things on it. Recently I bought a Nexus 7 and it's a night and day difference in usability. This thing is butter smooth and it can handle anything I ask it to do without a hiccup. Plus, my alternator whine is gone, so I think it's got better electronics in it for that, compared to the sammy tablet. I got Tasker to fully automate everything for me as well. I recently discover I can make my own UI overlays with it and lately I even made a custom overlay that asks me whether I want to shutdown the tablet now (when it detects power off) or cancel the shutdown process so I can play around more. Heh

@NRGZ28 do you have a worklog in this forum?
I'm using a galaxy tab too and think of switching to a nexus 7 for the same reasons you said. Using powermap + navigation + torque, plus eventually BT to phone is too much for the good old gtab :-)
