Awesome work!
nice work
Finally getting back to this after a year and a half. Was busy swapping an LS3 into my car.
Updated info:
New carputer, core i3, 4gb ram, halo soundcard, 500gb SSD running Win8
Will be upgrading to a capacitive screen before final instal (and might work on a 10.1 setup in my spare time)
Pics of carputer installed in factory amp location (old MB) need to build a new case for the new setup

I'll be running optical to a zapco DSP and RCA to all the amps.
I'm debating between a single 18" sub sealed or 2 15" IB style.
Will do a active 3-way setup with custom door panels similar to these

Wish I had an LS3 for my car, was brainwashed by gas mileage into being satisfied with the V6 so I'm waiting for CARB legal turbos to come out. Would like to see updates of the rest of your project too, a 10.1 sound system has got to be awesome. If you want more sound pressure go with the twin 15's, but if you are trying to fill the complete low end, the 18 will give a little more energy at the lower end and finish your frequency response curve slightly better. More pics please!
Here's pics of the car. I get 18 city, 25 hwy mpg. Not bad considering that's about what I was getting with the stock l6

That's a sweet mod! My neighbor across the street was talking about doing a similar mod to his M5. He had a salvaged LS1 in his garage on an engine stand, and was going to rebuild it, but suddenly passed away from a blod clot. So how did the Dyno results come out? RWHP and Torque? Awesome looking ride by the way!
Thanks, numbers were 430rwhp and same for torque on a mustang dyno. I wasn't able to dyno in the right gear tho, so I'm guessing its more likely 450.
Awesome! Can't wait to see what you do with the sound system and car PC!
Nice swap!
What trans did you use in this swap, any changes to the rear end?
I didn't realize these cars had I6's in them. Certainly makes them good candidates for small block!!
Nice tidy job on the PC box too BTW.
