I like #1 too, I think it'll look killer with the DSP in the middle. I'm not worried about the wiring, it's just time consuming.

Yah it's a Janus facia. The bybyte barley fit in there height wise and needed a little sanding. It was the max he said they could do.

So I decided to make the baffle board much more shallow, allowing for more trunk space... That is half the reason I'm doing IB anyway.

I know it's not cut right, I cut it to my original plan and decided to change it but didn't have enough cardboard to re-cut

And this will be the layout

We'll see how long this plan stays in motion. Lol

More progress on the baffle while I wait for the glue to dry before gassing.

    Reinforcement/trim rings

    Threaded inserts

The inserts hold tight, was able to wrench on them pretty good. But I'll wait to glue the rings on until I get the baffle and subs installed to see how much force I can comfortably put on it.

Great install! between the LS3, Sound, Carpc this is going to be a great ride when you are done!

Did you have to sacrifice any of the stock BMW features with the LS swap? airbags? did you keep the stock ECU to run some body functions?

    looking great mate!

Awesome! Did you have to muck around with the CAN networks to keep everything going? i would have thought that the cluster would throw some errors if the ECU suddenly vanished? I am very interested to know more!

I had to program the cluster to accept analog signals instead of CAN. It was pretty easy as the 97 years used analog signals so all I had to do was change it a little bit.
Other than that, everything is pretty much stand alone.

I sold a mount kit to a guy in Australia a while ago, and another one of my customers just started his LSx 427 swapped touring the other day.
