A lot more than I would have, if I knew what I was doing from the start. For amplifiers, I burned an AMP9 and also ordered TDA7850, which didn't work out. I tried using MiniTouch 700 before it was available open-frame, and I broke several cables, trying to disconnect the glued-on connectors. Also had to buy a lot of stuff I didn't own before: wires, connectors, soldering iron etc. You can estimate the cost yourself - almost all the parts I used are widely available online, except for the all-in-one PC. A better version of it can be bought for about $280 (Zotac ad10-plus), which is around the same price I paid for my unit.

$281 @ Provantage

Though the AD10 barebone (sans RAM and HDD) would be better for most of us.

Sure thing. You might not need a separate sound card and, because of that, you also won't need the USB relay. Everything else should be more or less the same

Thanks Blafrisch. what are you guys using for the power supply for the nano? I got the lilliput 669 so that will take the power directly from the nano. I just want to make sure I get the right supply for the nano. I was looking at the P1900, but t seems like overkill. The only other thing Ill be hooking up is a usb gps. Thanks.

I have got a second hand P1900 coming to power mine.. The only other thing that will power it is the USB DC DC converter:

But it only has one voltage rail and I wanted a second one to power my monitor and/or usb hub (how are you powering the lilliput off the nano, doesn't it need 12v?)

Might be overkill but I think it is better than the other options which don't seem to quite hit the mark..
