My own app, written in Macromedia Director. It's only 1/3 done and the more I work on it the more I see that I need to keep investigating options.

gorgeous car you have there and a very neat and tidy install.
been waiting for a long time to see someone use a Land Rover for a mp3 car, suprising as there's some much room in them, and some many possibilities for customisations
nice name man, i like it

    Range Rover PC

I've been doing quite a lot of looking before leaping. The Range Rover Installation is just abouth the best I;ve seen. I want to do similar things to My 4.6 HSE. and realise the best place to put the screen is in the hole in the dash getting rid of the clock and possibly moving the tempreature sensor. Which screen have you used? this is the big bit. Once thats in place everything seems more straight forward. I'm at present looking for a screen and a spare panel to aviod cutting the original. Is it a Touch Screen? and could you give me some idea of where i could have one sent to the UK.

I used a DSCustoms (Xenarc) screen. It is a touch screen. Having to do it all over again, I would get a smaller screen that would fit into the standard EVO Nav housing that is available for RR. The 7" is so large that you'll end up having to cut the plastic subframe behind the panel to get it to fit.

Hey, Great thread!! i'm working on my Range @ the moment, and I really like what you did vladilen!!

after the x-mas I'm gonna do my dash,. I'm trying to replace my HU for a 5 1/4 dvd and enlarge the dashpanel so my screen will fit better in it!

I've made the same kind of pc case in the back, but haven't installed it yet, Do you have any problems with bumpy roads, because it's right above the shocks?

I'll posts some more pics within a week!

I used a BlitzSafe unit to add RCA jacks to my HU. It plugs into the back of the HU, replacing the changer. The only problems I ran into are my crap fabrication skills. The dash looked like *** and the wife had me remove it and put the old one back when she took over the truck. Want the BlitzSafe?
