Yup, can't beat it for the price... The sound is great and the unit seems well built.

I know it a personal preference but where did you put it in the car?
I didn't see it in the pics you posted. Do you use it a lot or kind of set it and leave it alone?
My computer & amps are in the trunk and I was thinking of leaving the EQ in the trunk for now until I feel like fabbing it in the dash under the touchscreen and running the cables through the car.
I had something similar years ago when I had a head unit and really only used the Sub volume to drop it or raise it as needed. Right know I have a remote Bass control so that isn't an issue with that part.
I was originally hoping to stuff it in the glovebox with all the other stuff, but as the wires stared accumulating and everything was coming together there was no way it was fitting. I tried the upper glovebox, but it was too shallow... I already put the optical drive under the touch screen and I wanted it accessible so last resort was on the side of the center console. It surprisingly works out well there, no wires are visible and it doesn't interfere with the seat moving. This is an older picture, I also added a 7 port USB hub on the other side of the center console.

Thanks
Mine is on its way.
According to the manual I downloaded it says it is 4 1/8" deep.
Do you know if that is from the front of the buttons to the end of the RCA jacks or power supply on the back?
By chance off hand do you know the exact mounding depth from the face plate to the back (the longest part) RCA or Power supply.
The little bit of difference in depth will make a difference where I can put it.
Thanks for your help.
Ok, got the new GPS Receiver in today... I tried all my other GPS units this same way when I got them and none of them ever had 1 satellite in view.
I work in a building with a metal roof:

I was actually surprised when it not only had satellites in view, but connected to a few! This seems promising for the car:

I was hoping to do the install today but the weather is crappy - maybe tomorrow.
I must say, awesome project!
You've done everything very nice!
But I was wondering, why would you put a new touchscreen panel on the monitor?
It comes standard with a touchscreen integrated so why replace it?
I got kinda tired of multitasking on one screen... I've been using Windows more natively than run Centrafuse. Issue being that if I have my Nav running full screen it becomes interesting to manage my music. I found this neat 7" touchscreen that I mounted by my shifter, even though I have my steering wheel buttons for volume and track selection it's nice to have this to change playlists and whatnot within reach :)
