I would highly recommend pcm scan but if you are poor like me then the cables came with a cd that had odb lite scan which read pids and engine codes. Nothing special but it lets me check my fends cels and see coolant temp when i was dealing with overheating problems. I still want pcm scan for the digital dash aka "dash xl". Goodd luck tho.
