Lol oh ya that would be a major button, but its an infinity tweeter. Part of a pair of component speakers. any high range speakers sound much better the more inlign they are with the listeners ears.
oh no. not that. here what I meant,
In this picture, on the passenger-side door (I used red circle). what is that?

Hey bossman, I noticed you changed your A/C and heat controls to black. How did you do that? Did you just wrap it with black vinyl or did you actually painted it?
Ya i actually did paint those. Its pretty easy to take apart that little climate control console. just a bunch of lil screws. the grey just looks so bad i couldn't help it. I would reccomend adhesion promoter, primer, and semigloss black. those 3 layers will outlast the grey that was under it.
Nice. Thanks for the tip. I agree with you, the grey/silver really does look bad. I'm totally putting in carbon fiber vinyl and painting anything that is grey. Just haven't decided on whether to go with all black or white like you did. Although I am sort of leaning towards white. The contrast looks really good.
Great set up man. I have a non carpc related question, where did you get that Toyota door sill? I've been looking all over the web and haven't found an illuminated Toyota door sill. Your Camry looks great.
as far as i was able to find, there were really only one pair i would have bought. But I didn't especially like them, so i made the ones you see here with a dremel, casting expoxy, led strips, and some patience. Here is a writup if you REALLY want them.

Thanks for the info, I purchased some of the metal 4runner door sills and am going to try to slice them and get an led strip under them but I like your write up, so I might try to make these as well. Thanks again.
First things first; from one Camry owner to another, glad to see your mod!!
Second, major props to you for fitting a near 10" screen as the display in your dash!! In the beginning, I used to shy away from anything beyond 8" in fear of losing the "stock look." Now that I see that it can work, I may buy the iPad screen on display-touch.com...
Third, thanks for introducing us to the Clarion EQ. All this time, I was looking for a decent price on the Kenwood counterpart; but this looks much cleaner...
Now, I know you mentioned steering wheel controls for the computer. But for the monitor, how do you control it? Do you have it setup that it automatically turns on? Also, do you have a rear-view camera in conjunction with the screen? And for the housing, where did you get your .25 acrylic?
Thanks much!!
Ya lol its been a while since i've visited the thread. The screen it hooked to the Power supply unit, PSU, for the computer. All you need is a 12v source which there are a few not being used usually. SO it powers up with the pc. And also the little lcd screen controlling module i had to buy has buttons you can extend for changing various things and manually powering it on and off. I have like 4 different plastic wholesellers i use for my stock acrylic. And i just live in sububia utah no where special for that sort of stuff. Just look around and worst case you order online and pay a afew bucks for shipping.
