Yeah I'll definitely take a look and ponder my options. I also considered a battery pack, but then I remembered that the ps3 controller dies often. This is because the bluetooth connection must remain constant, which drains the battery. I don't anticipate that the battery pack would last very long. I really don't want to take my airbag off once a week to charge it...

Xbox battery pack mounted on the back of the wheel, it's a lithium ion pack and you can buy a couple to keep charged.

hmmm... I assume you mean mount the battery pack externally behind the wheel for easy swapping? Your suggestion is an intriguing one, my friend...

Yes exactly. Would have to look at the aesthetics of it though. I'm also not sure what voltage those packs kick out.

what are you running the audio to? do you have the stock head unit relocated or an amp somewhere?

The bezel was cut from a metra double din stereo adapter, available at most stereo shops. I grabbed mine on Crutchfield for $9.99.

I would assume that the packs would kick out 3V since you can also run the controller off of 2 AA batteries which would be 3V.

I'm running the audio to an AudioControl Epicenter to boost the signal, then out to my crossover/amplifier network. You can see the complete install HERE.

you know the samsungs tab have audio available via the USB out

that way you can maintain a digital out instead of running through the headphone jack
