I have not tried cyanogenmod. I haven't spent any time with Android so I am a bit nervous about doing any mods but I just started to look into them. I have JB all of my IPhones so I am a little familiar with the process but only from what I have read on the internet.
I love the MB Quartz. All of the speakers in the car are Quartz. They don't require a ton of power but stay clear at any volume. The sub gives a nice solid sound with a good bass response but not too boomy. I listen to a lot of movies (yes listen

) so I want a clean sub sound if that makes sense.

Maybe I missed it so if I did I am sorry...what did you use for that blue material to make the monitor mount?

It is actually a blue tee shirt. All of my fiberglass work starts with a tee shirt. They are cheap, sand very easy and I have plenty. It also shapes with no problem because it stretches in any direction. If it needs more strength then I add fleece or fiberglass mat. But usually tee shirts are all I need for this type of project.
