I have upgraded my LCD to a VGA controller, much much better image quality. I connect it directly to the computer video card via VGA cable.

Does this new VGA controller have RCA inputs too?

Sorry guy, I haven't visit this site for a while, had been busy with school and work.

Big_Bob: I am using the PortaWatts 300W invertor. As you probaly already know the power of choice would be a DC-DC convertor but they are freakin expensive and I don't think they have one build for 450W yet. You can get a 600W inverter, that will give you plenty of juice for your 450W PSU. Make sure you use 10 or 8 gauge cable.

SomeoneLost: No I got a cheap version, which doesn't have RCA input option.

kalito: go into the menu, and scroll up (or down) and you'll see an option to enable AUX input and also be able to adjust the gain too.

it depends on your sony head unit, for the lower end ones or older ones, you need a aux adapter as well to accept a source, otherwise those aux inputs are for a sony cd changer.

i have the adapter for sale if you want, $40 us shipped,

the model number is xa-300, u can google around for more specs

98_prelude: by far, this is still my favourite visual set up on the site!

    congrats to u
