I have been a driveability tech for over a decade now, and for the last 3 years I do a lot of restoration work on older corvettes and performance work and tuning on newer corvettes. and for maybe 8 or 9 years, now, I build gaming pc's and host small scale lan parties at my home. this has been and is an excellent project for me because it uses all of my skills and it is constantly evolving. next time I have my car up in the air, I will take a pic of the 2.25in exhaust I built for it. my bends, my welds.

Nice work, it's a really stealth looking install. That's some serious graphics too, more than most people put in, but I guess needed for gaming. Keep up the great work!

Warning handed out. Keep it positive guys. Bmw_Car_Pc, you're a pretty helpful member around here from what I can see from your previous posts. Not sure what rubbed you wrong here but please don't do it again.

EDIT: Thread cleaned as per AutoWiz request.

these are some screenshots from my real time tuning solution. this is aemtuner. the pics are showing injector and coil timing control, breakpoints, individual cylinder fuel and ignition trims, live tracing over a map, and a couple different guage configurations, so carpc can be an extension of my cluster, or maybe one day, replace it.

I have a noob question... If I were to run a tune profile like you are doing, and it came time for me to take the car in for smog check, could I just load the stock tune profile back in, and not raise a flag that the tune was tampered with? Where I live we are not allowed to do this, but my car has locked up HP, and I want to access it like you are doing.

i cant say enough good things about this aem setup. the optical cam&crank sensors will provide a clean squarewave down to 6v. the ems-4 will drive an engine all the way up to 25,600rpm. not that i think i could ever get my motor near that. and if i ever do decide to boost, this will drive an electronic wastegate and has boost maps that let you command specific psi at specific rpm under specific load. and with wideband hooked into ecu, it can actually see 10.5:1 afr, and you get o2 feedback control(trims) during hard accel or wot pulls.

all factory cars have some level of locked up hp. a factory tune is global, it's just made to work. at any altitude, in any climate, with any octane fuel rating. it is made to work, and do anything it can to prevent a warranty claim. without ever changing a single part, you can always make a car perform better, just by tuning it to the specific climate and altitude you live in. if it is that Camaro in your avatar, you could also turn off the Displacement On Demand(dod), set the power enrichment delay rpm to 0, disable most or all of the torque management / limiter stuff, recurve the fan control so as to keep the ls a little cooler, and raise the speed limiter. you can do all of that and still pass emissions. but so long as you save the original tune file before you start making changes, you can always go back. ls motors should only be tuned with hptuners.

here is the junk in my trunk. my build has absolutely no head unit, or crossover, or anything. motherboard plugs directly into 6 channels of amplification and straight to speakers. volume is adjusted from windows with wireless keyboard/touchpad. also here is a pic of the springs and shocks I have sitting in box in my bedroom. the corvettes use a monoleaf to hold the car up, so I do not have access to the tool I need to swap in these 35mm drop springs and kyb gr-2 shocks. and the most recent pic of my car. badged up AEM and with new sporty lookin power side mirrors with led markers and turn signals....
