OK, I see you have the tower mounted in the armrest space. Pretty clever spot too, doubles as vibration dampening.

Thought about water cooling , but I came across a DIY circuit you can build to control fans , tested it out on my home PC and it worked great . What it does is it varies the voltage going to the fans depending on the temp, my front fan pulls in and the rear fan pushes out the rear. Using that circuit and speed fan I tweaked the settings on the circuit where as on the hottest August Florida day my proc and graph and sata ssd don't get get close to being hot. 95 degree day and the fans are running maybe 3/4 speed at start , which I can tell by the brightness of the LED on the fans, takes about 5 mins and my A/C has the temp down and fans running at minimum speed

There is definitely a cool factor to old skool mobile audio, some of it is drawing pretty good bucks now too because it is in style right now.

well I do know that the distortion ratio was rated at .008 on my 20 year old Soundstream amps, and the last 10 years have been geared toward volume which results in ratings of .08 or .8 distortion. unfortunately there no ADHOC for car stereo so companies can put any spec they want. But your higher end companies usually have accurate specs." point in case"
I would have customers bring me a 300 watt amps to install that would have 1# 20 amp fuse for protection. TALK ABOUT BREAKING THE LAWS OF PHYSICS. That amp might reach 300 watts but it would be at a high distortion ratio that your speakers would eventually fry

Yup, nothing like a Pyramid 1200w amp that can almost run off a cigarette lighter.

Agree, very nice install. I like how you went headless; what did you route your sound from the PC to? I want to go headless also but I'm somewhat hesitant because I'm not sure how to get the sound from my motherboard to the speakers/sub effectively.

Also, how do you like the Directed HD Radio tuner?
