BONDO is a brand of auto body filler "putty" used for repairs, patches, etc. Not sure if you guys have the BONDO brand there in the UK, but you most definitely should have a similar product with just a different name.

i was thinking about http://www.scantool.net ... it looks like the software could use some help but they allow you to write custom software to interface witht their unit.

I built a bracket onto the piece of ceiling trim that I reworked. It just mounts like any other drive with screws into the sides. If you are doing something similar and dont want to fabricate a bracket you can probably use double sided foam tape to secure it.

Gork, is your CD-rom is mounted upside-down? cause it really give little room to place a cd there if it's not upside-down.

Why don't you upgrade that CD-Rom drive to be slot-loading? W/O trays would be a cleaner OEM style IMHO.

    Question

Great install, i did it in my coupe with OEM Radio Navigation look here
    1. How did you connect the Sound from the Mainboard to the H&K Sound-System without a OEM Radio?
    2. How can I show up the infos from my boardcomputer when I didnīt have a Radio from BWM (left fueldistance, fuel consumption etc.)
I have a build myself an I-Bus Interface but at this time not installed in my car, is it possible to get these fuel infos out, to diplay them in a software? Which software?
If this is possible i have no problem to demount my OEM Radio and to build in my TFT at your choosen possition but without these infos from the boardcomputer I must think hard about it.
For the audio question: Please also post a link, or a good install guide to connect the Onboard or USB/PCI Soundcard to the H&K Soundsystem, because I am not the best English speaker/reader! Sorry for that!

    Greetings from Germany
