does the touchscreen still work?
Did you have to move around any of the climate control buttons to fit the screen in? If so, how hard was it to do and how long did it take?
Im thinking about putting a screen in my accord but i would have to move all of the climate control down a good 6 inches.
can you show me how to take off the radio cover? I have a 2000 civic too and I been lookin in the manual with no luck.
Well lets see - No I didnt have to touch the AC controls at all.
The Radio "cover" you mean the black shroud with the ac vents and all ?
Ok, start off with the two screws under the panel, facing the floor board (near the cig. lighter) then remove the paneling under the steering wheel, (this has screws all over , just gota look for em..) (1 is in the glove box corner) then you will have access to 1 remaining screw in the far upper left side of the plastic that contains the cig lighter. The screw is normally covered by the far corner of the other plastic shroud. remove this screw, and the cig lighter shroud shoud be free.
under this shroud are 4 bolts with philips heads / socket
remove these 4 bolts and the entire black plastic shroud can nuw be pulled off (it has clips, so pull firmly)

Looks great. Did you keep the touch screen? Do you find the extra controls you added are needed with the touch screen? (assuming you kept it in)
