I'm not 100% sure how brrman did his install, but I know with the 2001 S4 (BOSE), I got everything working with an aftermarket amp, connected to the speakers. They're connected where they come in from the doors. Under panels for driver/passenger side (front), and right around where the front seatbelts connect to the floor (middle-car) for the back door speakers.
The subwoofers are connected right in the trunk - easy as pie for those. Just remove the plastic covers, and reconnect your speaker wire.

I wrote this really fast, sorry if it dosn't make any sense.

I sent Hyperspeed a PM a while back, but for rest... I removed all the stock Bose equipment, so I can't really help anyone who intends to interface new speakers with the stock HU... or new HU with bose speakers.

Aww shame the picts seem to be dead now, im aware that this is a really old thread but from what i saw brrman was last active 02-08-2007.

So with this shameless bump im hoping he is still around and mabye have some way of rehosting the picts as all the comments hints to a awesome install (prays)
