Decided to make a new thread and let the older one die since its kinda long by now. For you Audi guys that were curious about the stages of the custom dash work... here ya'll go:

My car before I started:

After cutting my dash trim...

Then the Inner Dash Cage modifications:

So the console is next...

Remove the Ash Tray:

Cut out the rear of the Ash Tray area for the wires to have access to the new HVAC position.

Add the modified cage and trim back to the console for fitting:

Creating the template for HVAC controls:

Add the faceplate to the controls:

Secure the HVAC circuit board to the console::

We get the final result:
