    have you tried if the program of obd at www.obd-2.com works with the scantool interface you are using ????

    I see his own cable for $122. I have the ElmElectronics cable used by the scantool.net software and "Jeff's" cables http://www.planetfall.com/~jeff/obdii/ which works with opendiag, freediag, vagcom, and maybe more.

    Which cable is obd-2 cable use? Or is it his own unique cable? I tried both mine and neither seemed to work.

    So far I am VERY pleased with how everything has come together. I still have some more functionality I will be adding, but whats there works great.

    I am adding the WinTV USB tuner for passengers to watch tv on the road. I am also going to look into getting a cell phone with bluetooth that can provide a cellular data connection to the internet.

    Man! You beat me to my Evo8 finish. At least now i have someone i can contact if i have a concern, HEHE. You did exactly how im doing, so yup yup. Ive posted a few times on here about my progress.

    I read more on your site and realised how much more we are doing alike, dame GPS, same mic, same webcam....OY! must be the like mind of an evo owner LOL. FOr myself however my mic is black so i am placing it in my steering column, looks pretty sleek. Man i wanna chat with ya on this project, ill PM ya!
